It will not damage the car roof, because the snap screw length is approx. 1cm, the screw is on the ceiling shell, not on the metal. There is at least 3 cm between the roof shell and the roof, after the installation, the screw only exposed about 3 mm, so the screw did not hurt the top of the metal, and does not affect the use of skylights.
