𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐘𝐞𝐭:The Aether utilizes the largest IEM planar driver that we have created so far. With a 15.3mm diaphragm and extremely powerful, multi-layered N52 neodymium magnets, the Aether’s driver outputs a truly headphone-like sound. Compared to the typical 12mm or 14mm diaphragm size found in other planar driver IEM’s, the Aether’s 15mm driver produces greater output at lower distortions, significantly improving the audio quality.
𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫-𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝:The larger driver in the Aether not only improves its resolution, but it also delivers a wider and more accurate soundstage and imaging. Thanks to our new chamber design and improved ventilation in the driver and shell, we aimed to reproduce the experience of listening to open-back headphones or stereo sound systems. And with the airy texture characteristic of planar magnetic drivers, the Aether sounds open and life-like.
𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲:Tonal integrity was a key feature in engineering the Aether. Staying true to Kiwi Ears’ signature tonal balance, the Aether has been meticulously engineered to deliver a natural and precise sound. The bass is focused with sub-woofer-like slam and a mild mid-bass to mids transition to give a slight warmth to the body of the sound. The core midrange from 300 to 800Hz is flat to give a monitor-like accuracy to instruments and vocals. The treble was painstakingly tuned to carefully match the tonal perception of the human ear and give a clear, yet natural upper frequency response.
𝐀 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬:With the planar magnetic driver’s extreme technical performance in speed, responsiveness, imaging, and soundstage, as well as its balanced tonal signature, the Aether is designed for professionals who seek accuracy and precision in their sound. The Aether is also perfect for gamers and music enthusiasts who seek a high degree of engagement with their sound.
𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦:The Aether comes standard with a detachable 2-pin 0.78mm connector system. This modular design allows the earphones to be swapped with other cables with the same connectors, extending the earphone’s longevity as well as allowing customization in the user experience.
